Mara Freeman

Mara Freeman is a British author, storyteller and teacher who has been an internationally respected teacher of Celtic sacred traditions for over twenty years. She is an initiate of the Western magical arts, an Archdruidess of the Irish Druid Clan of Dana and Honored Bard with the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids and founder of the Avalon Mystery School.

Mara is author of many published articles, recordings, and the book, Kindling the Celtic Spirit, (HarperSanFrancisco, 2001.) See more about Mara.

John Matthews

John Matthews is an internationally renowned authority on mythology and folklore with a special interest in the Arthurian and Grail traditions. He has produced over forty books ranging from the worlds of the Celtic and Arthurian legends to collections of stories, essays, and poetry.

His best known and most widely read works are The Grail: Quest for Eternal Life, Taliesin: Shamanism and the Bardic Mysteries in Britain and Ireland, and The Celtic Shaman. See more about John Matthews.
Andy Norfolk

Andy is a writer, artist, and occasional broadcaster living in Cornwall, who has been studying and researching ancient sites for over 40 years. A landscape architect and ecologist, he started the Cornish Ancient Sites Protection Network and was one of the founders of the Cornish Earth Mysteries Group. He is a Cornish speaker, a Druid, and Bard of the Cornish Gorsedh.
Caitlin Matthews

Caitlin Matthews has written over 36 books and leads workshops on Celtic mythology, spirituality, shamanism and healing. Her works have been a source of wisdom, healing and inspiration to thousands of people around the world.

Ronald Hutton

Ronald Hutton is a leading authority on history of the British Isles in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, on ancient and medieval paganism and magic, and on the global context of witchcraft beliefs. Also the leading historian of the ritual year in Britain and the current world expert on the history of modern paganism.

His books include: Witches, Druids and King Arthur; The Stations of the Sun: A History of the Ritual Year in Britain; and The Triumph of the Moon: A History of Modern Pagan Witchcraft. See more about Ronald Hutton.
Paul Broadhurst

Paul Broadhurst is one of the most original authors and researchers into the mysteries of ancient landscapes, their myths and the effect they have on human consciousness. Probably best known as the co-author of cult classics The Sun and the Serpent and The Dance of the Dragon, which have changed the way a whole generation relate to the land, he has also written a number of ground-breaking books investigating subjects as diverse as Holy Wells, Arthurian mythology and the real meaning behind the myth of St George. Cheryl Straffon

Cheryl Straffon has been tour guiding for twenty years to sacred sites in Britain and Europe. She is an author of several books including Pagan Cornwall: Land of the Goddess, The Earth Goddess, and Daughters of the Earth, and editor of the magazines Meyn Mamvro and Goddess Alive!

She was born in Cornwall and has lived there for most of her later life, and is Chair and Project Director for the Cornish Ancient Sites Protection Network.

Karen Ralls

Karen Ralls is a Oxford-based author, medieval historian, and world religions scholar, is widely recognized for her ground-breaking work. A lively and inspiring conference speaker, international lecturer, acclaimed specialist researcher, and media / film consultant, Dr Ralls is the author of The Knights Templar Encyclopedia (Career Press, NJ, 2007), The Templars and the Grail (Quest Books, Chicago, 2003), The Quest for the Celtic Key (Luath, Edinburgh 2002) and Music and the Celtic Otherworld (Edinburgh University Press, Palgrave/Macmillan, NY 2000). She obtained her PhD from the University of Edinburgh, and was asked to remain on as Postdoctoral Fellow and lecturer for six years, before continuing at Oxford in 2001. See more about Karen Ralls.
Scot AnSgeulaiche

Scot AnSgeulaiche is a native of the Highlands and storyteller to Sir Lachlan Maclean of Duart Castle, on the Isle of Mull. He is a tour guide of many years' experience, specializing in history, myth and legend, and has a magical way of making the landscape come alive with all its stories and secrets from ancient times.

He has been a regular and popular presenter on the Spirit of Scotland tours since they began. See more about Scot.
Hilary Wylde

Hilary Wylde has been a guide for visitors to Wales from all over the world – including the Smithsonian Institute in the USA – for over 30 years. She has led workshops on the archetypal mythology within the landscape of Wales, taught meditation and yoga, and led seasonal celebrations from her home by a holy well in North Wales. She now lives on the West Wales coast.
